GUILD MISSION STATEMENT:

We are an American EST(GMT -5:00) raiding guild. We believe in no-nonsense fun and enjoyment for all. Many of us are crude and swear with no regard to courtesy. Our personalities and jokes can sometimes bother people with a thin-skin. We ask any new recruit to get to know us after joining. We also ask that new recruits be of the age 18 or older to apply due to graphic, mature, and obscene language used. If this is an issue please use the badword filter provided by SoE in game.

Guild Info:

As said above, we are mostly American and all raiding is planned around EST. We raid on Fri/Sat/Sun nights. During the week we do a lot of item farming, exp groups, and questing. DKP is assigned for raids that are scheduled on our website. For any other items, it is a roll based or need system, depending on the group of people performing the task. We do use Teamspeak and ask that any member have the ability to at least listen in TS during raiding.

8. I just joined, what is my status in the entire DKP raid system?
a. New members who join DH will be on a diminishing trial period that spreads over 4 weeks. This means basically four weekends so that they may join us on a few raids.
b. Week 4 of their trial period. They are accepted as a member of the guild by the Officers and Guild Leader.
c. During weeks 1 and 2 we ask that trial members attend at least one fri/sat scheduled DKP raid event and in weeks 3 and 4 we ask that you attend at least 2-3 scheduled DKP raid events. This time will give trial members a chance to evaluate us and in return us a chance to evaluate them.
d. You may say, why do we restrict their earnage and ability to purchase in the trial period. In the past, we have had issues with guild hoppers and people bail on us once we get them loots. We feel that a system like this will allow us to get them some gear, drops from our normal weekly farming, and allow them to get vested in the guild by building some DKP while in the trial. This way, people feel good about the gear they are receiving from our pickup farming raids during the week. By the time they enter week 3, most people will have made a choice if they like this guild as their new home or not.
